Happy Birth Day Cédric
Last Birthday celebration in Belgium and in Summer 😊. The 2 girls born in January will from now on celebrate their birthday in the Australian summer holidays from early December till late January. Our summer boy Audric is like his dad born in Belgian Summer and will from next year celebrate in his birthday in Winter, most probably with a similar ‘summer Belgian’ weather, as winter temperatures in Brissie are around 21 degrees and dry.
Buying presents is not the smartest thing just before leaving and while packing. Also on each item less than 12 months old you must pay import duties if you bring it into Australia. Therefore I asked our Town chocolate maker for a creative handmade chocolate present to surprise Cédric. He did a great job for our wedding and look at what he made today! 10 Days more to go, as Belgians chocolate lovers, I guess we will succeed to finish all chocolate before we are on the plane. If course we will take some cote d’or chocolate in our luggage , as you can’t find it in the supermarket ☹
