Caloundra, Sunshine coast

We leave our Airbnb in Samford and we head toward the Sunshine Coast. The Sunshine Coast start 100 km North of Brisbane and is known for its nice beaches. It appears to be less touristic then the gold coast which is 100 km south of Brisbane.  Normally it would take a bit longer than 1 hour to get there, but due to the start of the Term 3 holidays, it was very busy on the roads.  Our patience was rewarded when we saw Bulcock beach in Caloundra. Nice blue water, nice views, pelicans, playgrounds, perfect (winter) weather, not crowded and happy kids… we will certainly come back
