Airlie beach is not only located on the Great Barrier Reef, but it’s also home to the world-famous and most beautiful spot I have ever seen namely the Whitsunday Islands. Many tour operators offer a combined trip to the reef and the Whitsundays, including pick from the BIG 4 Holiday Park. The holiday Park itself has many free activities for kids including mini golf, an aquapark, heated swimming pool, jumping pillow, playground and a petting farm. Of course there are plenty of other locations in Airlie Beach to stay overnight, the town even his is own airport.
